1-What kind of studies did you do and where?I studied Fashion Design at University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg.
2-Why did you decide to work just with knitwear instead of anything else?
Because I like knitting: For me it´s the ultimate way to express myself, to create an individual and personal fabric.
3-I know how it works with fabrics and pattern when you have to creat a collection, but in your case where do you start? You draw some sketches? You just start knitting?
I start with the selection of the materials and colours.
Then I knit single pieces by myself: I develop the pattern and look while handworking, it`s a spontaneous process.
Moreover, there are some women who knit for me. I give pattern and design to them and they knit single pieces for me.
In the end I do kind of a collage, put the pieces together and create a silhouette. I use a dress form for it and do drapery, too.
4-What's the thing you're most proud of talking about your work achievements?
My work is very personal to me. It means a lot to me, and to be able to work like that makes me happy.
5-Where do you take inspiration from when you have to create your clothes?
